Our mission is to enrich the lives of the blind and the visually impaired through a specialized music-learning and instruction program provided at no cost to the students. This is to help the students “see” the world with the color of music and prevent feelings of loneliness, depression and anxiety. The program strives to help the students develop a sense of self-worth by offering them opportunities to use their new music skills in and as a career.
Beyond Vision Music Foundation (BVMF) is dedicated to enriching the lives of the blind and the visually impaired by offering music training in a variety of disciplines. Founded and led by master musician, Mr. Saeed Deihimi, who has specialized in music training for over 40 years, BVMF strives to infuse the magical power of music into the lives of a very special group of students.

Pioneered by Saeed Deihimi, BVMF incorporates a framework that allows visually-impaired students to comfortably learn different aspects of music.
What We Do
We are dedicated to serving every talented blind student that can benefit from our program at no cost to the student. We teach piano, guitar, voice, and more. We have multiple offices across Southern California.

Our students often have a close and powerful relationship with music, and our curriculum offers different ways for the blind to express themselves through music.

YOU HAVE A ROLE TO PLAY
Based on the National Federation of the Blind, over 7 million individuals are reported to be legally blind in America. These individuals face many difficulties in life. Blindness causes considerable social challenges in relation to activities in which a blind person cannot participate. It frequently affects a person’s emotional well-being and their ability to perform many job duties, which in turn severely limits their employment opportunities, and thus diminishes their level of self-esteem.
Life becomes a celebration when friends keep in touch, so let’s celebrate our life by keeping in touch with each other. We would love to hear from you.
If you have a musical instrument in good condition, consider donating it! We can either use the instrument to teach our students or we will auction it, with the proceedings going towards the lessons for the students. Please email us and let us know how we contact you.
BVMF depends on private donations from individuals, corporations and foundations to fund our operating budget and to provide ongoing programs to our visually impaired students.
